Oscilloscope Calibration Option for the 5080A Multi-Product Calibrator
The 5080A Oscilloscope Calibration Option enables the 5080A Multi-Product Calibrator to calibrate analog and digital oscilloscopes up to 200 MHz. It is a plug-in module that fits inside the 5080A calibrator. It can be ordered factory installed with a new calibrator, or added later at a Fluke service center for an additional installation and calibration charge.
The 5080A Oscilloscope Calibration Option adds functionality to the 5080A Multi-Product Calibrator:
- Leveled sine wave generator up to 200 MHz for verifying bandwidth
- Square wave generator for calibrating voltage gain
- Fast edge risetime pulse generator (< 1 ns) for checking pulse response
- Time mark generator for verifying horizontal deflection characteristics
Operation is easy
You access the 5080A Oscilloscope Calibration Option's capabilities simply by selecting "Scope" mode on the calibrator’s front panel. All outputs are conveniently located on the calibrator's output block, to make hook-ups easy and to minimize the errors contributed by cabling.
