Verifying the accuracy

I was tasked with verifying the accuracy of a picocoulomb measuring device used to monitor Accelerometers. I did not have any picocoulomb generating devices but thankfully I did have access to the multi-talented 5520A with SC1100 (oscilloscope) option.

This device coupled with a precise capacitor allowed me to generate a range of picocoulombs by utilizing accurate small voltage levels as well as a leveled sinewave that ultimately allowed me to verify the gain accuracy and the bandwidth accuracy of my unit under test.
