Description Firmware upgrade utility. This program writes new releases of embedded software to the FLASH memory based products listed above. WinFlash 2.00 supports USB flashing and much faster RS232 Flashing for the PPC4 only. The next release of WinFlash 2.00 will obsolete the existing WinFlash.

Summary WinFlash 1.01 and WinFlash 2.00 are installed on the host PC. Use WinFlash 1.01 for products other than the PPC4. Locate the appropriate firmware and use the appropriate installed version of WinFlash to upgrade the product. The flash process requires that the instrument be connected to the host PC via RS232, USB for the PPC4 only. WinFlash requires a software "*.bin" file selection and a RS232 port to begin the flash process. Follow the WinFlash on screen prompts to complete the Flash process.

Instructions Download and run the file. The installation program will prompt you through the process. To upgrade a product you must download the corresponding .bin file from the products' embedded software page. Run the WinFlash program, choose write to product and select the downloaded .bin file. Make sure the correct COM port of the product is connected to a RS232 port on the host PC. Most products use a standard RS232 cable connected to COM1 of the instrument. Some PG models require a null modem cable connected to the COM2 port of PG7000 Piston Gauge. Refer to the product documentation or specific flashing instructions on the product page. The program will prompt you through this process.
